Common Pressure Washing FAQ's
We recommend having your house pressure washed annually to maintain its appearance and prevent dirt, mold, and mildew buildup.
While pressure washing is generally safe for most surfaces like concrete, brick, and vinyl siding, it may not be suitable for delicate materials like wood or stucco. Our technicians assess the surface and adjust the pressure accordingly to ensure safe cleaning.
When performed by trained professionals, pressure washing is safe and effective. However, using too high pressure or improper techniques can cause damage. Our team uses the right equipment and techniques to prevent any harm to your property.
Pressure washing can effectively remove most stains, dirt, and grime from surfaces. However, some stubborn stains may require additional treatment or specialized cleaning solutions.
Common Paver Sealing FAQ's
Most professionally sealed pavers in Florida typically last 2–4 years depending on sun exposure, drainage, foot/vehicle traffic, and maintenance. Higher-traffic driveways and full-sun areas wear faster than shaded patios.
Not always. If the existing sealer is failing (peeling, flaking, whitening, uneven shine), stripping is usually recommended so the new sealer bonds correctly and looks even. If the previous sealer is still in good condition, a proper cleaning and recoat may be possible after an on-site inspection.
Pressure washing cleans the surface, but it doesn’t protect it. Sealing helps lock in joint sand, reduce weed growth, slow fading, and protect against staining and water intrusion—especially important in Florida’s heat, rain, and algae conditions.
When done correctly, sealed pavers should not feel dangerously slippery. Surface prep and correct application matter. Areas that stay wet (pool decks, shaded zones) may need specific product choices and application techniques to maintain traction.
Yes—proper joint sand is a key part of a professional job. We clean the pavers, then re-sand joints as needed (commonly using ASTM C-144 sand or an appropriate joint sand depending on the application) to help stabilize the pavers and reduce washout and weed growth.
Yes. We remove organic growth during the cleaning process and treat as needed. Sealing over algae/weeds traps problems underneath, so proper cleaning and prep come first.
Typically, light foot traffic is allowed after 24 hours, and vehicle traffic after 48 hours, depending on weather/humidity. We’ll give specific cure-time instructions after the job based on conditions that day.
Sealing can enhance the look. Many homeowners prefer a “richened” look (more vibrant color) with either a natural finish or a mild sheen depending on product choice. We can recommend the best finish once we see the pavers in person.
Pricing depends on total square footage, condition of the pavers, how much joint sand needs to be restored, whether stripping is needed, access, and any problem areas (heavy stains, failing coatings, etc.). We provide an exact quote after an on-site inspection.
For most Florida homeowners, yes—especially for driveways and patios. Sealing helps protect against fading, algae staining, sand loss, and joint washout—plus it improves curb appeal and reduces long-term maintenance.
Yes, as long as we have a safe weather window for application and cure time. We monitor forecasts closely and schedule accordingly to avoid rain impacting the finish.
Not necessarily. If access is available, we can provide an estimate without you being home. Many customers prefer an in-person walkthrough, but we can also review everything by phone after we take measurements and photos.
Disclaimer:
Our standard pressure washing services do not cover additional tasks such as hard stain removal, adhesive residue cleaning, paint overspray removal, or dealing with mortar, concrete, or other tough debris. These supplementary services are available at an extra cost, and clients are required to sign a waiver for their execution. If your property presents any of these unique circumstances, please inform us, and we will gladly collaborate with you to address all your specific needs.
Hard Stain Removal:
We do provide hard stain removal services, including hard water staining, silicone, caulk, or adhesive residue removal. However, these services come with an additional fee and require a signed waiver.
Property Accessories:
For an efficient pressure washing service, any window accessories such as air conditioning units, security bars, or other fixtures that require dismantling or moving must be removed beforehand. We will make every effort to work around these accessories if left in place, but we will not interfere with them directly.
